Khondker Talha new Bangladesh Ambassador to France

Khondker M. Talha, currently the director general of East Asia and Pacific Wing (MoFA), has been appointed the next ambassador of Bangladesh to France by the government. 
Talha, a career foreign service officer from Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS), Foreign Affairs Cadre, was announced by the MoFA today.
He served in the UN's permanent missions to Bangladesh, New York and Geneva. There he was elected to the Bureau of several UN and international organisations.
He was also sent to London and Tehran missions for Bangladesh.
In his previous stints at headquarters, he was the Chief of Protocol. He also served in various capacities at South Asia and Multilateral Economic Affairs wings.
Talha has a master's degree in economics, an MBA from IBA Dhaka University, and another master's in foreign affairs, trade, and international affairs from Monash University in Melbourne.
